Meet the Staff?

Matthew Voedisch, CPDT, ABCDT, graduated from Animal Behavior College in May of 2004 and thereafter began operating Dogsworth Academy, LLC. Since this time he has attended 8 major dog training conferences all over the nation hosted by some of the worlds most respected animal trainers in the world. In June of 2005 Matt was recruited by Animal Behavior College as a recognized Mentor Trainer and has assisted in 9 student graduations. In August of 2006 he completed an Internship through Canine Companions for Independence. Matthew has continously challenged himself in this field and in September of 2006 successfully passed the only nationaly recognized certification in the country(Certification Council of Certified Professional Dog Trainers). He serves as an active member in the Association of Pet Dog Trainers and is also expected to graduate with a Masters Degree in Behavioral Neuroscience from the Ohio State University. Matthew has offered both private consultations as well as group classes in addition to free training seminars/lessons at adoption events for local dog shelters and rescue organizations. Outside of his training business he resumes a position as a manager for the Canine Social Club, a daycare for dogs, LLC. The program launched in September of 2007, incorporating clicker training lessons as an added service. Matthew currently resides in Grandview Heights, OH with his two goofy French Bulldogs, Scout and Lenny.

Doreen Buchler has been an avid dog lover for over 40 years. This love of dogs eventually led her to Volunteer at the Franklin County Dog Shelter. Although having graduated from Ohio Dominican University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Doreen has chosen to pursue further education in the Professional Dog Training Field. Doreen's work with the diverse population at the Dog Shelter has inspired her to pursue her Dog training career in order to increase the adoptability of the Shelter Dogs through Basic Obedience training. Doreen recently graduated with Honors from Animal Behavior College. She is a strong advocate for Positive Reinforcement Training. Doreen has developed a training program to be used at the Local Dog Shelter and for the Foster homes of the Shelter dogs. Doreen resides in Canal Winchester with her two dogs Kensey and Riley, and occassionally a foster dog from the Shelter.
